UFO view of W4BWZ crew

UFO view of some of the W4BWZ crew, waving hello or asking for help?
+++++++++++++++
The UFO was a club member who was unable to attend the trip for having to work with the UFO. He flew over and dropped a case of water in the brown box. He also had a COAT HANGER in there and had a note that said "Uncle Ted, you forgot your HF antenna, sent this one along" from KF4OLM - Russ in Savannah.

Home sweet home

Home Sweet home for the weekend.
This trip was dedicated to the loss of one of our charter members Tommy Martin WB4PVL who passed the week before of natural causes. Tommy was a charter member of our club since its inception on 1974, and was very inspirational in keeping our club repeater on line. The trip was called the "1st annual Tommy Martin - Pine Island Dxpedition"

And away we go.

Keith N0CALL, Uncle Ted's Son-in-Law, practices good radio procedure just learned from
"Ham Radio for Dummies".

Someone has to do the cooking.

"Uncle Ted", KG4RUM Chief cook.

Radios were a ICOM 706MKIIG and a Kenwood TS440S. Antenna was a home brewed dipole Steve KG4WNL made that was 136ft long and 40ft at center. Vertical was taken, but not all parts for the vertical were taken, so wire was the only antenna used.
Totals QSOs - 187, 18 DX countries - including Serbia, Lithuania, Italy, France, etc
35 of 50  States.
